Award Ceremony 2026
The Sayeed Bin M0hammed Naqsh Award 2026 was presented to Ashishtha Reddy and Vishvi, students of the Department of Painting, College of Fine Arts, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad.
The award ceremony was held at JNAFAU on Monday, September 7, 2026, as part of the birth centenary commemorations of the late Professor Sayeed Bin Muhammad, a renowned artist, master portrait painter, and former Head of the Department of Painting at the College of Fine Arts, JNAFAU.
The occasion paid tribute to Professor Sayeed Bin Muhammad's significant contribution to the field of art and his lasting legacy in the world of painting. It also aimed to encourage and recognise emerging artists by honouring talented young students through the Sayeed Bin Muhammad Award 2026.
